Bonaire
Dutch Caribbean isle
Bonaire is a small Caribbean island that, along with Curaçao and Aruba, forms the ABC islands off the coast of Venezuela.
It is a special municipality of the Netherlands, having been part of the Netherlands Antilles until that entity dissolved in 2010.
The island is known for its coral reefs and is a popular destination for scuba diving and snorkeling.
We spent a week diving in Bonaire.
