wrist rests
Typing arm supports
Wrist rests are padded supports placed in front of a keyboard or mouse to cushion the wrists during computer use.
They're designed to reduce strain and prevent repetitive stress injuries by keeping the wrists in a neutral position: I added a gel wrist rest to my desk setup.
Despite the name, ergonomic guidance often recommends resting the heels of the palms rather than the wrists themselves.
