workation
Laptop on beach
A workation is a trip that combines remote work with vacation, typically to an appealing destination where someone can handle job responsibilities while enjoying a change of scenery: I'm doing a workation in Portugal next month—mornings at my laptop, afternoons at the beach.
The blend of work and vacation reflects the rise of location-independent employment.
