women's libbers
Movement for female rights
Women's libbers is a somewhat dated and often dismissive term for advocates of women's liberation—the feminist movement of the 1960s and 70s that sought equal rights and opportunities for women.
The term was used both by supporters and critics, though critics wielded it more frequently: Those women's libbers want to destroy the family.
The singular is women's libber.
