wildlife artist
Fauna and flora
A wildlife artist creates art depicting animals in their natural habitats—paintings, sculptures, or illustrations of birds, mammals, fish, and other creatures.
The genre emphasizes realistic representation and often serves conservation purposes: The wildlife artist spent weeks in the field sketching elephants before beginning the painting.
