water fights
Summertime soaking skirmishes
Water fights are playful battles in which participants spray, splash, or douse each other with water using hoses, water balloons, squirt guns, buckets, or whatever's handy.
A warm-weather activity associated with children, though adults join in: The neighborhood water fight lasted all afternoon.
Also called water wars.
