watch crown
Time adjustment knob
The watch crown is the small knob on the side of a watch case, used to wind the mechanism and set the time.
Pulling the crown out allows adjustment of the hands or date; pushing it back in and turning winds a mechanical movement.
On water-resistant watches, the crown often screws down to seal the case.
