want lists
Catalogs of wishes
Want lists are inventories of items a collector is seeking to acquire.
The term appears most often among collectors of stamps, coins, records, comics, and trading cards.
A dealer or fellow collector can check your want list to see if they have anything you need: I sent my want list to three vintage vinyl shops.
