volunteer drive
Community help campaign
A volunteer drive is an organized campaign to recruit people willing to give their time without pay for a cause or organization: The hospital launched a volunteer drive before flu season.
Like blood drives or food drives, these are focused recruitment efforts with a specific goal, often tied to an upcoming need or event.
