velcro straps
Ripping fabric bindings
Velcro straps are fastening bands that use hook-and-loop closure—tiny hooks on one surface gripping tiny loops on another.
They secure equipment, bundle cables, or replace buckles and laces: The blood pressure cuff fastens with a velcro strap.
Velcro is a trademark, but the lowercase form dominates casual usage.
