A vacationist is a person who is on vacation or who takes vacations regularly.
The term is somewhat dated and more common in American English, where it competes with the now-preferred *vacationer*.
The beach town swells with vacationists every summer.
British English speakers would more likely use *holidaymaker* for the same concept.
