urger
One who goads
An urger is someone who urges—that is, one who presses, encourages, or advocates for a particular action or course.
The term appears most often in Australian English, where it has developed a specific meaning: a person who gives unsolicited tips at racetracks, often of dubious reliability, or more broadly, a pushy person working an angle.
The urgers at the track always had a sure thing that never quite paid off.
