unrhymed

Lacking matching endings

Unrhymed describes verse or poetry that doesn't use rhyme—lines that end without matching sounds.

Blank verse, written in unrhymed iambic pentameter, is the most famous example: Milton's Paradise Lost is written in unrhymed verse.

The term can also describe any text where rhyme might be expected but is absent.
