unmoral
Outside ethical consideration
Unmoral means outside the sphere of morality—neither moral nor immoral, simply not subject to ethical judgment.
A rock is unmoral; a hurricane is unmoral.
The word differs from *immoral*, which means violating moral standards.
Unmoral suggests the category doesn't apply: The behavior of animals is unmoral, not immoral.
