undercards
Before the headliner
Undercards are the preliminary bouts or matches scheduled before the main event at a boxing, wrestling, or mixed martial arts show.
They feature less prominent fighters and build toward the headline attraction: The undercards were more exciting than the main event.
By extension, any supporting acts or secondary attractions on a program.
