two-wheel drives
Not all-wheel vehicles
Two-wheel drives are vehicles in which engine power goes to only two wheels rather than all four.
The term usually refers to rear-wheel drive trucks or SUVs, distinguishing them from four-wheel-drive versions: The two-wheel drives are cheaper but won't handle mountain roads in winter.
Also written as 2WD.
