Truck lanes are highway lanes designated for large commercial vehicles, typically found on steep grades or congested routes.
They allow slower-moving trucks to stay right while faster traffic passes: Use the truck lane on the uphill climb.
Some highways have truck-only lanes to separate heavy vehicles from passenger cars entirely.
