trigger guards
Loop around triggers
A trigger guard is a protective loop surrounding a firearm's trigger, preventing accidental discharge by blocking unintentional contact.
The guard allows the shooter's finger to rest outside until ready to fire—a basic safety principle.
Trigger guards appear on rifles, pistols, and shotguns: Keep your finger off the trigger and outside the trigger guard until you're ready to shoot.
