trick riding
Equestrian stunt performance
Trick riding is the performance of acrobatic stunts on a moving horse—standing in the saddle, hanging off the side, vaulting on and off at a gallop.
The practice developed from cavalry skills and became a staple of Wild West shows and rodeos.
She learned trick riding from her grandmother, a former rodeo performer.
