tribute video
Commemorative video compilation
A tribute video is a compilation of photos, video clips, and music honoring a person—typically someone who has died, is retiring, or celebrating a milestone like a wedding or graduation.
The format became ubiquitous with digital editing tools: They showed a tribute video at the memorial service.
The term also describes fan-made videos celebrating celebrities, fictional characters, or franchises.
