trail network
Linked hiking paths
A trail network is a system of interconnected paths for hiking, biking, or other recreation.
The term emphasizes that individual trails link together, allowing users to create longer routes or loops: The park's trail network spans over fifty miles.
Trail networks may be managed by parks, municipalities, or private organizations.
