trackpads
Cursor control panels
Trackpads are touch-sensitive surfaces on laptops that replace the mouse for cursor control.
You slide your finger across the pad to move the pointer and tap to click.
Modern trackpads support gestures—two-finger scrolling, pinch to zoom, three-finger swipes between windows.
Also called touchpads.
The trackpad on this laptop is unusually responsive.
