tournament draw
Match-up assignment chart
A tournament draw is the bracket or schedule that determines which competitors face each other and in what order.
The draw is often determined randomly or by seeding, pairing top-ranked players against lower-ranked ones in early rounds.
The tournament draw put the defending champion on the opposite side of the bracket from the top seed.
In tennis and other sports, draw also refers to the field of competitors itself: a 128-player draw.
