tonk
Deuces-wild rummy
Tonk has several unrelated meanings.
It's a card game combining elements of rummy and knock poker, popular in informal settings.
In British slang, to tonk someone is to hit them hard: He tonked the ball over the fence.
A tonk can also be a heavy blow or, in Australian slang, a fool or effeminate man.
The verb sometimes means to defeat decisively: We absolutely tonked them in the second half.
