tiger tail
Feline rear extension
Tiger tail names several unrelated things sharing the striped or trailing quality of an actual tiger's tail.
In American bakeries, it's a twisted pastry with contrasting colors—typically orange and chocolate.
In hairdressing, tiger tails are chunky highlighted streaks.
The tiger tail is also a sea cucumber species with banded markings, and in electrical work, a short wire pigtail used for connections.
