tier list
Ordered quality categories
A tier list is a ranking system that sorts items into labeled categories, typically S, A, B, C, D, or F, with S being the highest.
Originally from gaming—ranking characters by competitive viability—tier lists now apply to anything: a tier list of fast food chains, ranking the presidents on a tier list.
The format invites debate and has become a popular way to express opinions online.
