syrahs
Dark French wines
Syrahs is the plural of syrah, a dark-skinned grape variety used to make full-bodied red wines.
The grape produces wines known for bold fruit flavors and peppery notes.
In Australia, the same grape is called shiraz.
We tried several syrahs from the Rhône Valley.
