Dorm living companions
Suitemates are people who share a suite—a set of connected rooms, typically in a college dormitory.
Unlike roommates, who share the same room, suitemates have separate bedrooms but share common spaces like a bathroom or living area: My suitemates and I split the cost of a mini fridge.
The term belongs almost exclusively to university housing.
