staticky
Full of interference
Staticky describes something affected by or producing static—the crackling, popping interference in audio or visual signals: The radio signal was staticky during the storm.
It also describes the electric charge that makes hair stand up or clothes cling: My sweater gets staticky in dry weather.
The word is informal, more common in speech than writing.
