stan accounts
Devoted follower profiles
Stan accounts are social media profiles dedicated entirely to supporting a celebrity, fictional character, or public figure.
The term combines "stan" (an obsessive fan) with the account's single-minded purpose: posting updates, defending against criticism, and connecting with fellow devotees.
My stan account has more followers than my main.
The phenomenon dominates platforms like Twitter and Instagram, where users often maintain separate identities for their fan activity.
