slugging average
Total bases divided
Slugging average is a baseball statistic measuring a batter's power by calculating total bases divided by at-bats.
Unlike batting average, which treats all hits equally, slugging average weights extra-base hits: a double counts twice as much as a single, a home run four times as much.
A slugging average above .500 is excellent.
He led the league in slugging average with .650.
