slobberers

Ones who drool

Slobberers are people or animals that slobber—letting saliva drip or run from the mouth.

Certain dog breeds are notorious slobberers: Bulldogs and mastiffs are heavy slobberers.

The term extends to people who drool excessively over something they desire, whether food or attention: The slobberers gathered around the dessert table.
