sleeping lions
Children's quieting activity
Sleeping lions is a children's game in which players lie motionless on the floor while one person (often an adult) tries to make them move or laugh without touching them.
The last child to remain still wins.
Popular at parties and in classrooms when children need calming down: Let's play sleeping lions until the bus arrives.
