sled dog race
Snowy team sprint
A sled dog race is a competitive event in which teams of dogs pull sleds across snow or ice, with a human driver (musher) standing on the sled's runners.
The Iditarod, running over a thousand miles across Alaska, is the most famous example.
Races test endurance, strategy, and the bond between musher and dogs.
