singsonging
Speaking in melody
Singsonging is speaking or reciting in a singsong manner—with a rhythmic, repetitive rise and fall in pitch that sounds almost like chanting.
Children often do this when reciting rhymes or taunting: She went around singsonging "I know something you don't know".
The term can describe any speech with an exaggerated melodic quality.
