sheepmen
Wool industry workers
Sheepmen are people who raise sheep, particularly those who manage large flocks on open rangeland.
The term belongs to the American West, where sheepmen historically clashed with cattlemen over grazing rights: The sheepmen moved their flocks onto disputed territory.
Now somewhat old-fashioned, replaced by sheep ranchers or shepherds in most contexts.
