server name
Computer's network label
A server name is the unique identifier assigned to a computer that provides services on a network.
In web contexts, it's often the domain name that directs browsers to a particular website: The server name goes in the address bar.
In local networks, server names distinguish between machines: Connect to the server name "FILESERVER01" for shared documents.
