serve rotation
Alternating server order
Serve rotation is the system in volleyball and similar sports where players cycle through positions after winning service from the opposing team, ensuring each player takes a turn serving.
The rotation moves clockwise, with players shifting one position each time their team regains serve: We lost the point because someone was out of serve rotation.
