school tours
Guided educational walkthroughs
School tours are organized visits to educational institutions, typically for prospective students and their families evaluating where to enroll: We scheduled school tours at three different high schools.
The term also covers field trips where students visit external sites—museums, factories, historical landmarks—as part of their learning: The fifth graders went on a school tour of the state capitol.
