rose cutting
Rooted stem piece
A rose cutting is a section of stem cut from a rose plant and used for propagation.
The cutting, typically six to eight inches long with several leaf nodes, is placed in soil or water to develop roots and grow into a new plant genetically identical to the parent: I started these bushes from rose cuttings three years ago.
