rocks glasses
Short cocktail cups
Rocks glasses are short, wide drinking glasses with thick bases, designed for spirits served over ice—"on the rocks." The broad rim lets you appreciate the aroma of whiskey or bourbon, while the sturdy construction handles the jostling of ice cubes.
Also called lowball glasses or old-fashioned glasses, after the classic cocktail.
