A roastee is the person being roasted—the target of jokes at a roast, where friends or colleagues take turns mocking someone in a spirit of affection.
The term follows the pattern of roaster/roastee: The roastee sat onstage while comedians tore into him.
Being the roastee requires thick skin and a sense of humor.
