religious lectures
Spiritual teaching sessions
Religious lectures are formal talks or addresses on matters of faith, scripture, or spiritual practice, typically delivered by clergy or scholars to educate or edify an audience.
The term often carries a slightly dismissive tone when used outside religious contexts: I don't need religious lectures from someone who's never read the Bible.
To give someone a religious lecture can mean to moralize or preach at them unwantedly.
