reink

Freshen stamp pad

To reink is to replenish the ink supply in something—typically a stamp pad, ribbon, or marker that has run dry.

The term appears most often with self-inking stamps: The date stamp is fading; time to reink it.

Reinking extends the life of equipment that would otherwise need replacement.
