red-haired

Copper-crowned, like some

Red-haired describes someone with hair ranging from deep auburn to bright copper to strawberry blonde—the rarest natural hair color in humans.

The trait appears most frequently among people of Northern European descent.

Also called redheaded or, informally, ginger.
