ragged right
Irregular text edge
Ragged right describes text aligned along the left margin but uneven on the right, the natural result of not justifying lines to equal length.
Most casual documents, emails, and web pages are ragged right.
The opposite—ragged left—aligns text to the right margin.
The designer preferred ragged right for its informal feel.
