Butt in line
To queue-jump is to move ahead of others who are waiting in line, either literally or figuratively.
The term is primarily British: Some passengers queue-jump by boarding before their group is called.
It extends to any situation where someone bypasses the normal order of priority: Wealthy patients queue-jump for surgery.
