poll books
Electoral enrollment records
Poll books are official registers used to record who has voted in an election.
Historically, they listed voters' names and sometimes their choices, serving as the permanent record of participation at a polling place.
Modern poll books may be electronic tablets that verify voter eligibility and check in voters: The election worker scanned my ID against the poll book.
