pinhead
Fool or fastener-top
A pinhead is the small, rounded end of a pin—something tiny.
By extension, pinhead means a stupid person, someone whose brain is supposedly the size of a pin's head: Don't be such a pinhead.
The insult is mild and somewhat dated.
Pinhead also describes anything unusually small: pinhead-sized dots.
