picture postcards
Vacation correspondence cards
Picture postcards are postcards featuring photographs or illustrations of scenic locations, landmarks, or tourist attractions.
Travelers traditionally send them to friends and family back home.
The term often appears figuratively to describe something ideally beautiful or quaint: a picture postcard village, picture postcard weather.
